MADRID, November 21. /TASS/. Spain has already delivered military aid to Kiev totaling approximately 600 million euros, Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles reported.

Madrid sends arms to Kiev in phases, the minister explained. "We have already provided [weapons] worth 600 million euros, and we have another 300 million euros allocated," Robles said during a parliamentary defense committee session.

Spain will soon send Kiev a new shipment of nine Leopard 2A4 tanks, according to the Infodefensa news outlet.

In May 2024, Vladimir Zelensky visited Madrid and signed a defense agreement with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, who confirmed that Madrid committed to supplying Kiev with 1 billion euros in military assistance for 2024.
