TBILISI, November 19. /TASS/. Kakhaber Kaladze, Secretary General of the ruling Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party and Mayor of Tbilisi, has accused President Salome Zourabichvili of being an agent of foreign interests and acting under their influence.

"She [Zourabishvili] is a person subject to influence. She has rulers and she does do whatever they tell her to do. When you are an agent, you have no other choice - you do what you are told. You don't even have the right to ask questions," Kaladze told reporters.

Parliamentary elections were held in Georgia on October 26, employing the widespread use of electronic ballot boxes for the first time. According to the Central Election Commission, the ruling Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia party got 53.93% of the vote and secured 89 seats in the parliament out of 150. All opposition parties that have entered parliament refuse to recognize the results of the elections because they believe the Central Election Commission’s data was tampered with. Opposition leaders have been holding protest rallies since November 4.
