NEW YORK, November 16. /TASS/. US President-elect Donald Trump announced that his campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt will be the new White House press secretary, his transition team said in a statement.

During this year’s presidential campaign, Leavit was Trump’s campaign spokesperson. She also served as an assistant press secretary during Trump's first presidential term.
