BAKU, November 13. /TASS/. Bulgarian President Rumen Radev called for trying out every possible diplomatic opportunity to reach a settlement in Ukraine.

He made the comment in an interview with TASS on the sidelines of a UN climate change conference in Azerbaijan.

"We need to exhaust all the diplomatic means to find peace according to the UN Charter," he said, when asked about the outlook for settlement efforts following Donald Trump’s win in the US presidential election.

According to the Bulgarian president, Europe wants the conflict in Ukraine "to finish as soon as possible."

"We cannot afford ourselves to have a war in the heart of Europe. This is a problem for all of us," Radev said.
