US entrepreneur Elon Musk and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, who previously sought the nomination as the US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, will head the Department of Government Efficiency under the incoming Donald Trump administration, the president-elect said in a statement released by his transition team.
Additionally, he proposed American TV host and former military officer Pete Hegseth for the post of Pentagon chief.

Military and Security

The US president-elect also proposed American TV host and former military personnel Pete Hegseth for the post of Pentagon chief. Trump is convinced that, in his new position, he will boldly and patriotically defend the US policy of "peace through strength."
Former US Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe has been appointed to lead the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). According to the statement, Ratcliffe previously played a key role in exposing misinformation from Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign regarding alleged Russian interference in the presidential election.
