Police say Russian-made drone without explosives fell down in Moldovan territory
On the same day, the Moldovan foreign ministry accused Russia of violating its air boundaries, slamming this incident as an "unfriendly step"
CHISINAU, November 12. /TASS/. Moldova’s police claim that the drone that fell down on Tuesday was Russian-made and carried no explosives.
"The drone was recovered and examined by experts from the criminal and forensic analysis center, who identified it as a Russian-made Shahed chase drone, which was not stuffed with explosives and posed no threat to people," it said.
According to earlier reports, two more drones were found fallen in the north and south of Moldova. Police posted photos of the cardboard drones, which carried no explosives.
On the same day, the Moldovan foreign ministry accused Russia of violating its air boundaries, slamming this incident as an "unfriendly step." Today, this issue was raised at a meeting with Russian Ambassador Oleg Ozerov, who dismissed these accusations, calling them ungrounded.
The Moldovan side has accused Russia of violating its air space each time when drone fragments were found in its territory. Most of such fragments were later identified as boosters of Ukrainian air defense projectiles.
