A retired Army National Guard officer and war veteran, Mike Waltz is "a nationally recognized leader in National Security," Donald Trump said
NEW YORK, November 12. /TASS/. US President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Congressman Mike Waltz (Republican Representative from Florida) National Security Advisor.
"I am honored to announce that Congressman Mike Waltz (R-FL) is hereby appointed to serve in my Cabinet as my National Security Advisor," according to Trump’s statement that was released by his team.
A retired Army National Guard officer and war veteran, Waltz is "a nationally recognized leader in National Security, a bestselling author, and an expert on the threats posed by China, Russia, Iran, and global terrorism," Trump said in the statement.
Now, Jake Sullivan serves as the US National Security Advisor.
