Ukraine retreating fast, delaying peace to result in lost territories — entrepreneur
"The simplest path to peace in Ukraine is to go back to the draft deal signed in Istanbul," David Sacks said
NEW YORK, November 12. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces are retreating at an increasing pace, so further delay of a peace agreement will lead to more casualties, US billionaire David Sacks said.
"The longer the war goes on, the more territory Ukraine will lose. This is a simple fact," he wrote on his X page.
"The simplest path to peace in Ukraine is to go back to the draft deal signed in Istanbul <...> Everything else is a non-starter. Further delay only loses more lives & territory," Sacks said.
In November 2023, David Arakhamiya, head of the Servant of the People faction in the Ukrainian legislature, said in an interview with 1+1 television that Kiev refused to accept the agreement after the then British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Ukraine. The UK official then suggested that Kiev should not sign anything but keep fighting.
