Arab League, OIC countries insist on suspending Israel’s participation in UNGA

TUNIS, November 11. /TASS/. Member states of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will consolidate efforts to have Israel’s participation in the United Nations General Assembly suspended, according to the finals statement of the Arab League and OIC summit in Riyadh.
As follows from the document, countries of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation agreed "to consolidate efforts to mobilize international support while drafting a General Assembly joint resolution to freeze Israel’s participation in the United Nations General Assembly <…> due to its violations of the UN Charter, being a threat to international peace and security and the failure on its commitments as a UB member, as well as on the basis of the advisory opinion of the International Criminal Court of July 19, 2024.".
