NEW DELHI, November 11. /TASS/. India is keen to expedite negotiations on an investment treaty with Russia, the republic’s Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar told a Russian-Indian business forum in Mumbai.
"The first ever bilateral Investment Forum took place in Moscow in April 2024. We also need to expedite negotiations on the Bilateral Investment Treaty," he said.
"A growing Russian appreciation of Make In India as a program to deepen business will certainly help to take forward our cooperation in many domains," the minister added.
Russia has focused more deeply on Asia since 2022, Jaishankar stressed. "This has created many more avenues of cooperation," he noted.
