BEIRUT, November 10. /TASS/. A Hezbollah commander was eliminated in Israel’s airstrike on Damascus’ Sayyidah Zaynab neighborhood, the Lebanese news portal Naharnet reported.
According to the news portal, Ali Mousa Dakduk was in charge of operation against Israel in Syria. He coordinated actions with Shiite armed groups of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq movement and steered shelling attacks on the Golan Heights.
A source in the Syrian defense ministry told the SANA news agency earlier that Israel had attacked Damascus’ southeastern suburbs, with missiles being fired from the occupied Golan Heights. According to the source, seven civilians were killed and 20 more were wounded. Later, the Sham FM radio station said that the death toll had risen to nine.
Meanwhile, the Al Hadath television channel said that three Hezbollah members fighting on the part of the Syrian government army, who lived in the targeted house, were killed.
