Viktor Medvedchuk explained that no one asks Zelensky's opinion anymore

MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election is forcing Vladimir Zelensky to urgently put on a peacemaker's mask, but no matter what he does, he has no chance of success, Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of the Opposition Platform - For Life party banned in Ukraine, said.

"Zelensky is already trying on the clothes of a peacemaker and rehearsing an American smile in front of the mirror, trying to please Trump. <...> But there is one important point in all this: no one believes in Zelensky's, as well as those of the collective West, peacemaking efforts," Medvedchuk wrote in his author's column on the media platform "Smotrim.ru," recalling that Zelensky "rushed to congratulate Trump one of the first."

The politician explained that no one asks Zelensky's opinion anymore. Ukraine is located on historically Russian territory, Medvedchuk pointed out, so it is not the collective West that should be asked about joining Russia, but the residents of these regions.

He also recalled that the failures of the Ukrainian armed forces in the combat zone make Ukraine's Western partners doubt the need to continue providing aid to Kiev. According to Medvedchuk, Zelensky is being forced by the United States to continue the game, and he will use all means to do so, from requests to threats and blackmail. "Zelensky has no chance, even theoretically, no matter what political stunts he performs," the politician concluded.
