HAVANA, November 8. /TASS/. Russia was among nations that offered its help to Cuba in dealing with the island’s energy crisis and in coping with consequences of multiple hurricanes, Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment of Cuba Oscar Perez-Oliva said.
"Russia and China have immediately offered assistance," he told reporters at an emergency briefing, convoked by the foreign ministry in connection with Hurricane Rafael. "Many countries have offered aid, some came up with concrete initiatives."
Participants of the conference also informed the press that Hurricane Rafael caused no deaths on the territory of Cuba, although damage was reported.
