Belarusian president pardons 31 people convicted of extremism

MINSK, November 7. /TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has pardoned 31 individuals previously convicted of extremist crimes.

The Telegram channel Pool of the First, which is close to the presidential press service, reported that two women and 29 men have been pardoned. "Seventeen of them have chronic illnesses, three are disabled. Twenty-seven of the pardoned individuals have children, including seven with multiple children," the report states.

The pardoned individuals have been released from their primary sentences, but their criminal records remain. The Interior Ministry will monitor their further actions.
