Two UN peacekeepers wounded in Israeli strike on Lebanon

BEIRUT, November 7. /TASS/. Two peacekeepers from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) have sustained minor wounds in an attack by an Israeli drone near a security roadblock in the vicinity of the city of Saida.

According to Al Jadeed, the peacekeepers from the Malaysian contingent received medical aid on site. The bus driver who was taking them from Beirut international airport to Naqoura where UNIFIL is headquartered has also been injured.

The strike has eliminated a motor vehicle belonging to the Lebanon-based Shiite party Hezbollah, killing all militants inside. Their number has not been specified. There have been no losses among Lebanese servicemen on duty at the roadblock.
