MINSK, November 6. /TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Donald Trump on winning presidential election in the United States, Lukashenko’s press service said.

"I cordially congratulate you on the comeback as the US president. The outcome of the voting, which was held this year amid unprecedented struggle, personifies you personal endeavor," he said in his congratulatory message.

The US held its general election on November 5, with the voting having concluded when it was Wednesday morning in Moscow. Although vote counting continues, Trump has already proclaimed himself the country’s 47th president as he has scored more than 270 electoral votes, which is enough to win the election. Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson has already called him the elected head of state. Meanwhile, numerous congratulations have already been sent to Trump from foreign leaders.
