Businessman Deripaska predicts oil barrel price at $50 by May 2025 amid Trump’s victory

MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. Russian businessman Oleg Deripaska believes that the price of oil will fall to $50 per barrel by May 2025.
"(The Republican presidential candidate Donald - TASS) Trump has started being congratulated… Good morning, a new world… Oil to $50 by May," he wrote on his Telegram channel, commenting on the results of the US elections.
Tuesday’s elections in the US ended early on November 6 Moscow time. The results have not yet been officially announced, though according to projections from Fox News, Trump is leading the presidential race with 277 Electoral College votes, surpassing the 270 votes needed to win. He has already declared himself the 47th president of the United States. US House Speaker Mike Johnson has announced that Trump is the elected head of state, with foreign leaders already beginning to send their congratulations.
In addition to the presidential and vice-presidential elections, the US also voted for one-third of the Senate, all members of the House of Representatives, as well as governors in 11 states and two US territories.
