"The people of America gave Donald Trump a crystal clear mandate for change tonight," he wrote on his X social media account.

Meanwhile, vote counting for the election is still in progress, and no victory has been declared yet.

The businessman also promised that "the future is gonna be fantastic."

Trump has 267 electoral votes, with 270 needed to win. Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has received 216 votes.

Donald Trump intends to invite Elon Musk to head the government efficiency commission if he wins the presidential election. This commission is planned to audit and reform the federal government to eliminate fraud and inefficiency. Musk has indicated that he is willing to accept the offer.

The United States is holding another primary election, during which the president, one-third of the Senate, the entire House of Representatives, and governors in 11 states and 2 territories are elected.
