NEW YORK, November 6. /TASS/. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is not expected to declare his victory before the final results are in, his campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said in an interview on NBC News.
"I don’t think that will happen. I will leave it to him, and I believe that he’s going to declare victory and give a speech to his supporters, again, at the appropriate time," she said.
Earlier, CBS reported with reference to anonymous sources that Trump’s campaign headquarters was discussing the possibility of proclaiming his victory long before the vote count is over.
Trump declared victory prematurely in the 2020 presidential election and never formally conceded to Joe Biden.
