"We are not ready for a war with Russia," Krzysztof Bosak pointed out

MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski is pushing the country towards an armed conflict with Russia by making statements about the need to down missiles over Ukraine, Krzysztof Bosak, leader of Poland’s Confederation far-right alliance and deputy marshal of the lower house, told TVP Info.

"We are not ready for a war with Russia," he pointed out. "I believe that Minister Sikorski goes too far when he makes public statements that Poland allegedly would like to use its weapons to directly confront Russian weapons over Ukraine. This means nothing but going to war," the politician noted. "We don’t want to join the war in Ukraine; we don’t want the war to spread further and affect Poland," he added.

Earlier, Sikorski said in his public statements and interviews that Poland and other nations bordering Ukraine should shoot down Russian missiles flowing towards their borders. On July 8, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said following talks with Vladimir Zelensky that Warsaw would discuss the initiative with NATO allies.

However, Washington is skeptical about Poland’s idea. White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby noted that it could escalate the conflict.
