TEL AVIV, April 15. /TASS/. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant held a meeting on preparations for an operation in Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip.

"Gallant held a meeting on preparations for the IDF (Israel Defense Forces - TASS) actions in Rafah. He discussed with the participants in the meeting a number of measures that need to be taken as part of the preparations for the operation in Rafah with a focus on the evacuation of civilians and expanding activities linked with the delivery of food and medical equipment to the Gaza Strip," the Israeli defense ministry said.
