Ben Gurion Airport resumes operations
TEL AVIV, April 14. /TASS/. Israeli authorities opened the country's airspace, which was closed due to the threat of attack from Iran, according to the Israel Airports Authority.
"In accordance with the instructions of the security services, as of 07:30 in the morning (the time coincides with Moscow - TASS), the airspace of the State of Israel was open, Ben Gurion Airport resumed operations," the statement said.
The schedule at the Ben Gurion Airport is expected to change, the department said. Passengers are advised to check airline and airport websites for the most recent information.
The Israel Defense Forces news service stated on Saturday evening that Iran launched drones from its territory towards Israel. The army later stated that it had detected missile launches from Iran. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (elite units of the Iranian armed forces) confirmed a large strike on Israel with drones and missiles.
