Iran’s response to Israel "can be deemed concluded"— mission to UN
The Islamic Republic’s permanent mission to the UN reiterated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for Israel’s deadly strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus
UNITED NATIONS, April 14. /TASS/. Iran’s attack on Israel, which came as a response to Israel’s deadly strike on Iran’s diplomatic facilities in Syria, "can be deemed concluded," the Islamic Republic’s permanent mission to the UN said.
"The matter can be deemed concluded," the mission said on the X social network. "However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe."
The mission reiterated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for Israel’s deadly strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported late on Saturday that Iran had launched drones from its territory towards Israel. The Israeli military remained vigilant and tracked all targets approaching the country, the press service said. Later, missiles were also fired by Iran. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), an elite force within the Iranian Armed Forces, later confirmed that a massive drone and missile attack on Israel was under way.
