Islamic world knows why Russia started special operation — Muslim board’s head
Ravil Gainutdin explained that the Islamic world wished to see the emergence of a new world order, where the sovereignty, traditions, culture and religions of these states would be respected
MOSCOW, April 9. /TASS/. The countries of the Islamic world understand perfectly well why Russia was forced to launch a special military operation and they respect the policy of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ravil Gainutdin, the head of the Muslim Board has said.
"The Islamic world treats the policy of our President Vladimir Putin and our country with respect and understanding. They understand perfectly well why Russia was forced to start the special operation and why it had to demand a just world order and oppose the hegemony of only one world and one country," he said on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
Gainutdin explained that the Islamic world wished to see the emergence of a new world order, where the sovereignty, traditions, culture and religions of these states would be respected. "This is what the United States, the West as a whole, does not want. They would like to blow up our society from the inside, to create an atmosphere where we, different peoples of different religions but citizens of a single homeland and a single nation are at odds with each other inside our one state," he said.
Gainutdin noted that the forces that masterminded the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall on March 22, during the holy month of Ramadan, "with the hands of Muslim sons" were aiming to spoil Russia's relations with the Islamic world. He emphasized that the terrorist attack came as a shock and the hardest blow to the entire Islamic community in Russia.
"The terrorist attack was committed by those who have deviated from the path of Almighty God, by those who have taken the path of Satan," he concluded.
