ASTANA, April 9. /TASS/. Kazakh rescuers evacuated over 85,000 people from a number of settlements due to the flood, said Saipash Erasyl, the senior officer of the Civil Defense and Military Units Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"Civil defense services rescued and evacuated over 85,000 people, including about 30,000 children. 8.349 people, including 3,809 children, are in temporary accommodation facilities," he said.
