"In spite of all our efforts, Israel continues to ignore the national demands of the Palestinian people," Hamas Political Bureau member Osama Hamdan said
BEIRUT, April 4. /TASS/. The radical Palestinian movement Hamas thinks that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is standing in the way of a truce deal getting done in the Gaza Strip, Hamas Political Bureau member Osama Hamdan said at a press conference in Beirut.
"In spite of all our efforts, [Israel] continues to ignore the national demands of the Palestinian people," he said. "Netanyahu hinders any progress at talks or concluding a deal, he does not want to liberate Israeli captives," he explained.
Hamdan admitted that the "peace talks, unfortunately, are hitting a wall instead of advancing, in spite of Hamas’ efforts."
