UNITED NATIONS, April 2. /TASS/. Malta, which presides over the UN Security Council in April, will review the letter of the Iranian authorities that calls to condemn the Israeli strike on the Iranian diplomatic facility in Syria, Maltese Permanent Representative to the UN Vanessa Frazier said.
"Of course," she said, answering a question from a reporter. "I have yet to examine the letter, because there have been many meetings today."
Previously, the Iranian permanent mission to the UN published a letter to Frazier and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, in which it calls on the UN Security Council to condemn the Israeli airstrike and to take necessary measures, including holding an emergency Security Council meeting.
