Gaza death toll rises to over 32,700, Palestinian health officials report
In the past day alone, 82 people have been killed in the enclave, and 98 others have been injured, the Gaza Health Ministry added
CAIRO, March 30. /TASS/. The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 32,700 since the Israeli military launched its offensive in the Palestinian enclave in October, Palestine's Health Ministry reported.
"Since October 2023, the death toll in the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip has risen to 32,705, with at least another 75,190 people being injured," Palestinian health officials wrote on their Telegram channel.
In the past day alone, "82 people have been killed in the enclave, and 98 others have been injured," the Gaza Health Ministry added.
Tensions flared up in the Middle East after the infiltration of Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory on October 7, 2023, accompanied by the killing of residents of border settlements and the taking of hostages. Israel declared a total siege of Gaza and began to conduct strikes on the sector as well as certain areas of Lebanon and Syria.
