Exercise in Poland may be used for provocations near Belarusian border

MINSK, March 26. /TASS/. Participants of the Quadriga-2024 exercise afoot in Lithuania and Poland may be involved in provocations near the border of Belarus, commander of forces of the Northwestern Operational Command Alexander Naumenko has said.
"Major-General Alexander Naumenko has noted that the exercise Quadriga-2024 is being held now in a number of countries, including Lithuania and Poland. Three battalions (infantry and mechanized battalions from Germany and a US tank battalion) are concentrated at the Pabrade training range (15 km away from the state border)," the Belarusian Defense Ministry has said.
Naumenko believes that "the battalions, located at Pabrade, can be used for provocations near the state border involving saboteurs, reconnaissance squads and illegal armed groups."
Germany’s Quadriga-2024 exercise, to be held in Lithuania and Poland, will involve 12,000. According the Bundeswehr command, the exercise will be the largest since the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.
