Germany gives 'irritated feedback' to Ukraine in response to Taurus missile demands — MFA
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has repeatedly reiterated his refusal to supply Ukraine with Taurus missiles
MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Ukraine receives "irritated feedback" from Germany following demands to supply Taurus cruise missiles, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba told Politico.
"I'm tired of answering this (the issue of supplies of Taurus missiles to Ukraine - TASS). Sorry. You can quote me, I don't mind. But every time I answer the question, I get irritated feedback from Berlin. Leave it to them. They put themselves in this situation. Let them find a way out," he said.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has repeatedly reiterated his refusal to supply Ukraine with Taurus missiles. In particular, he stated that the transfer of such weapons was excluded because it would require the participation of the German military, which would be tantamount to dragging his country into the conflict. He has been constantly criticized for this position both by the German opposition and by a number of European countries, in particular, the UK and France.
