IMF approves allocating $880 million to Ukraine

WASHINGTON, March 22. /TASS/. The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has authorized allocating $880 million to Ukraine under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) mechanism, the IMF said in a statement.
"The IMF Board today completed the Third Review of the extended arrangement under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) for Ukraine, allowing the authorities to draw the equivalent of about US$880 million (SDR 663.9 million), which will be channeled for budget support," the organization said.
The previous installment of $900 million was approved last December.
