CHISINAU, March 13. /TASS/. Moldova has sided with the majority of sanctions introduced by the European Union against Russia, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the country Mihai Popsoi said in an interview with RTVI television.
"I will not tell you about the number of packages because our count is slightly different. According to our calculations, Moldova has sided with approximately 80% of sanctions," Popsoi said. They include both personal restrictions and economic measures, he added.
Russia eyes the decision of Moldovan leaders to side with sanctions as the next hostile step, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said before.
