US President said he wants "to see a ceasefire, starting with a major exchange of prisoners for a six week period"
NEW YORK, March 10. /TASS/. Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu should pay more attention to security of Gaza Strip civilians that are being killed as a result of hostilities, US President Joe Biden said.
"He [Netanyahu] has a right to defend Israel, a right to continue to pursue Hamas, but he must pay more attention to the innocent lives being lost as a consequence of the actions taken," Biden said in an interview with MSNBC television.
"I want to see a ceasefire, starting with a major exchange of prisoners for a six week period," the US President added.
