According to The Sunday Times, Boris Johnson discussed the conflict in Ukraine with Nicolas Maduro amid speculations of potential supplies of armament and other materiel by Venezuela to Russia
LONDON, March 10. /TASS/. Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson paid a secret visit to Caracas in February, when he met President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro, The Sunday Times newspaper reported, citing sources.
Johnson arrived in Caracas on board of a private jet flying from the Dominican Republic, sources said. The ex-prime minister discussed the conflict in Ukraine with Maduro amid speculations of potential supplies of armament and other materiel by Venezuela to Russia, the newspaper said.
Johnson also held talks on conditions of normalization of relations between the two countries, The Sunday Times reported.
