TEL AVIV, March 5. /TASS/. An Israeli jet fighter intercepted a drone that intruded the Israeli airspace from Syria over the northern part of the country, the IDF press office announced.

According to the IDF, the intrusion occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday. The drone was intercepted by an F-15 plane. Air raid alarm was declared in several areas in northern Israel during this incident.

No damage was reported after the incident.
