At least 30 Palestinians killed as result on Israel’s strikes on refugee camps in Gaza

DUBAI, February 29. /TASS/. At least 30 people have been killed as a result of Israel’s strikes on Palestinian refugee camps in the Gaza Strip, the Al Jazeera television channel reported.
According to the TV channel, at least 25 Palestinians, mostly women and children, died after airstrikes on the Nuseirat and al-Bureij refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip. Dozens are reported missing.
Apart from that, five Palestinians were killed as a result of Israel’s air raid on the city of Khan Younis in the south of the enclave. There might be more casualties as ambulances are unable to reach the scene, Al Jazeera said.
Tensions flared up again in the Middle East on October 7 after militants from the Gaza Strip-based radical Palestinian group Hamas launched a surprise incursion on Israeli territory, killing many Israeli kibbutz residents living near the Gaza border and abducting more than 240 Israelis, including women, children and the elderly. Israel declared a total blockade of the Gaza Strip and launched bombardments of the enclave and some areas in Lebanon and Syria, as well as a ground operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Clashes are also reported in the West Bank.
