BEIRUT, February 26. /TASS/. At least two fighters of the Shiite Hezbollah armed militia have been killed in a strike by Israeli Air Force fighter jets on the outskirts of the city of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon, the Al Hadath TV channel reported.
According to the channel, the air raid on the Hezbollah outpost deep inside Lebanese territory was the first since the 2006 conflict.
Three missiles were fired at the Tel Safiya neighborhood west of Baalbek, where the training camp is located, while another hit an ammunition depot in the village of Budaya.
Meanwhile, Al Manar TV, the voice of Hezbollah, reported that the attack destroyed an empty three-story house on farm in the Tel Safiya neighborhood. No casualties or injuries were reported.
