"They (the government’s opponents - TASS) won’t be able to implement any option in Belarus, even the most radical one. We know how to learn from our past mistakes so they have nothing to hope for," he told reporters after casting his ballot in the country’s parliamentary and local elections.

When asked if he planned to run in the 2025 presidential election, Lukashenko answered in the affirmative.
