G7 leaders vow to take measures against those who support Russia in Ukrainian conflict
The G7 leaders also condemned the actions of North Korea and Iran
ROME, February 24. /TASS/. The G7 leaders promised to take measures against countries and companies that provide material aid to Russia in the Ukrainian conflict, says the outcome statement of the G7 online summit.
"We will continue to take action against third-country actors who materially support Russia’s war including by imposing additional measures on entities, where appropriate, in third countries," the statement reads. The G7 leaders also called on financial institutions to refrain from supporting the Russian military-industrial complex and to "take appropriate steps, consistent with our legal systems, to deter this behavior."
The G7 leaders also condemned the actions of North Korea and Iran, which, as they believe, ship weapons to Russia, and stated their concerns about the shipment of double-purpose goods from China to Russia.
