MINSK, February 20. /TASS/. Security and intelligence agencies from Western countries are directly involved in terrorist attacks and acts of sabotage carried out on Russian soil, Belarusian State Security Committee Head Ivan Tertel said.
"Security and defense agencies of the UK, the US, France, Poland and other countries are already not only engaged in supplying arms to the Ukrainian side, but are also directly involved in planning and carrying out terrorist attacks and acts of sabotage in Russia, including bringing the perpetrators and means of terror through Belarus," the BelTA news agency quoted the security chief as saying at an expanded meeting on national security chaired by the president.
Tertel informed that on orders from the president, the security agency has developed and is currently actively implementing a set of measures aimed at in-depth monitoring of the threat landscape around and inside Belarus. "The goal we set for ourselves is to obtain proactive information about negative processes that could grow into real threats to national security and to work out ways to neutralize them," the security chief said.
