Poland, US plotting false flag operation to vilify Russia, Belarus — Lukashenko
The Belarusian president added that "Warsaw is trying to recruit high-ranking Belarusian officials to replace our opposition leaders"
MINSK, February 20. /TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned that Polish and US secret services are plotting a large-scale false flag operation against the civilian population of Poland to vilify Russia and Belarus.
"We know all the scenarios of various kinds of provocations, extremist actions involving militants located in Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania, exposed by our intelligence, and immediately turn the spotlight on them," Lukashenko said at a meeting with the senior staff of national security system agencies.
"Now we will support this tradition. One more piece of last-minute information. I quote it word for word: it is already important for Poles: Polish and US secret services are plotting a large-scale false flag operation against the civilian population of Poland, which will eventually be blamed on Russia and Belarus," the BelTA agency quotes Lukashenko as saying.
At the same time "Warsaw is trying to recruit high-ranking Belarusian officials to replace our opposition leaders."
"They will search for and create new figureheads loyal to the West and more effective here. All methods will come in handy - from banal bribery and blackmail to threats to the life and health - of you and your family and friends. Anyone could be targeted," Lukashenko warned.
