The explosion damaged the tracks, causing a stoppage of the train service

MOSCOW, February 19. /TASS/. An explosion went off at a railroad in Ukraine’s Vinnitsa Region, the Ukrainian news outlet Strana reported, citing law enforcement sources.

The incident took place in the village of Serebriya, according to the report. The driver of a freight train saw the explosion and applied emergency braking, the report said. The explosion damaged the tracks, causing a stoppage of the train service.

Investigators seized parts of the explosive device from the scene. The Security Service of Ukraine classified the incident as a sabotage attack and started an investigation. There were no casualties.
