HONG KONG, January 13. /TASS/. Another opposition candidate, Ko Wen-je, chairman of the Taiwan People’s Party (TPP), conceded his defeat in Taiwan’s presidential elections in a message televised live by the Taiwanese television channel TVBS.
Earlier, Hou You-yi, from the opposition Kuomintang (KMT) party which supported dialogue with mainland China, conceded his defeat to election frontrunner Lai Ching-te.
