RABAT, January 12. /TASS/. Units of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are raiding the city of Tulkarm in the north of the West Bank and the nearby refugee camp, the Beirut-based Al Mayadeen television channel reported on Friday.
According to the report, the Israeli military also surrounded and attacked the Nur Shams camp for Palestinian refugees, located several kilometers east of Tulkarm.
During their assault, Israeli forces clashed with members of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, the channel reported.
In a separate development, the Israeli army attacked the settlement of Yabad, southwest of another West Bank city, Jenin.
