Alparslan Bayraktar stresed that the implementation of energy projects with Israel was out of the question in the current situation
ISTANBUL, January 11. /TASS/. Implementation of joint projects with Israel by Turkey in conditions of the continuing crisis in Gaza does not appear possible, Turkey’s Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said on the air with the CNN Turk television channel.
"Implementation of energy projects with Israel is out of the question in the current situation. They are not present now in the Turkey’s agenda," the minister said.
Bayraktar said earlier that Turkey had suspended cooperation with Israel on joint energy projects.
Turkey said before that the country is holding talks with Israel on gas supplies from the Mediterranean. It was said that a subsea gas pipeline between Turkey and Israel could be built during four or five years.
