DUBAI, January 9. /TASS/. At least 24 people were injured in a fire at a factory in Iran's Alborz province, IRNA news agency said.

According to it, the fire started after a gaseous solution exploded. The incident occurred at 3:30 p.m. local time (12:00 p.m. GMT) in an industrial sector in the southeast of the province.

The head of the province’s medical center which treated the wounded described the condition of some of the injured as "critical."

Firefighters have localized the fire.
