BEIJING, January 9. /TASS/. China is not taking any sides in the Ukrainian conflict, invariably supporting resolving the crisis via talks, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said, speaking at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.

"While facilitating the resumption of peace talks and the restoration of peace, we are actively preparing not to take any sides [in the Ukrainian conflict] and aspire for [settling the situation] exclusively via peace talks," the top Chinese diplomat noted in his statement on the results of 2023.
