MOSCOW, January 8. /TASS/. Due to a scarcity of artillery ammunition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are routinely using FPV drones during combat operations, according to Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Fedorov.

"We’re increasingly using FPV drones because we have a lack of shells," he told The Wall Street Journal and added, "drones can’t replace artillery completely."

According to the material, the Ukrainian army responds to every five or six Russian shells with one or two.

Earlier, Alexander Tarnavsky, commander of the Ukrainian operational-strategic group Tavria, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a shortage of ammunition, primarily for Soviet-standard 122 mm and 152 mm caliber guns, as well as Western anti-aircraft missile systems.
