BERLIN, January 5. /TASS/. Germany has supplied Ukraine with rounds for Leopard 2 and ten Marder combat vehicles, the German defense ministry said.

The package also includes nearly 10,000 rounds of the 115mm caliber, a Biber bridge layer, dozens of trucks, 305 MK 566 submachine guns, thousands of winter uniforms, and helmets.

It is also planned to supply four IRIIS-T SLM air defense systems and a SKYNEX system.

Berlin’s overall aid to Kiev (humanitarian, financial, and military) since February 2022 has exceeded 25 billion euro. It was reported in November that the German government planned to increase assistance to Kiev in 2024 from four to eight billion euro. However, the authorities are failing to agree on the budget due to fiscal problems.
