MOSCOW, January 3. /TASS/. Ukraine lost a total of more than 310 servicemen in the Donetsk area, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"The total losses of Ukraine in this area were more than 310 servicemen, a tank, two US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, three armored fighting vehicles, nine motor vehicles, <...> a Msta-B artillery unit, a D-20 cannon, a D-30 howitzer and an electronic warfare station," the ministry said in a statement.

According to the statement, in the Donetsk area, units of the battlegroup South, acting in cooperation with operational-tactical aircraft and artillery, struck enemy manpower and equipment in the areas of the settlements of Bogdanovka, Krasnoye, Kleshcheyevka, Andreyevka and Kurdyumovka in the Donetsk People's Republic.
